You got to experience the Mother Ship: BUCEE'S! Awesome. That's a Texas-sized convenience store for ya. And have you asked the locals about H.E.B. or been to one yet? You'll get more than one story. The Butt family behind that store are doing a ton for Texans besides selling groceries. One of the sons of the founder started Laity Lodge our near Kerrville. Becky and I were honored to take a five night study leave there last year about this time. Beautiful area!

When you are in the vicinity of Ft Worth, the twice daily Longhorn Cattle drive is worth seeing-bit stand back! The horns are l o n g! Ft Worth has an interesting history and a fun rodeo museum.
We loved our time last year driving through Texas. That first pic looks like “The Big Texan”……. Where if you can finish the 72 oz steak it’s free!!!
If you’re anywhere near Amarillo go to Cadillac Ranch!!! Spray paint your names on any of the 12 Cadillacs. (LMK if our names are still showing). Like Go Eagles that Rich wrote!!!!!
